If your ears are uncomfortable when flying, then you might want to try The Alpine Flyfit Earplugs as a suitable remedy
The way they work is instead of blocking out the sounds like normal earplugs would, it filters out the background noise instead.
They also help to reduce the pressure in your ears that occurs when your plane takes off and lands.
What i like about these earplugs is they are re-usable, washable and feel comfortable in your ears. You will still be able to hear people talk to you as the filter attenuates the background noise.
These are also good for travelling by car, train, bus etc, as they work in the same way for all your transport travel needs.
It is still important to have prescription glasses when you go on holiday too. Whether it be$ 8 Rx eyeglasses, sports goggles or some tinted glasses for the sun.
Stonehenge has always been a fascinating tourist spot for many years, as there is so much history and speculation about it.
When was it built?
It was originally built between 3100 – 1100 BCE. Two types of stone called Bluestones and Sarsen stones were used to build it. The Bluestone in particular was brought from 240 miles away. Amazingly it took over thirty million hours to build.
Why was it built?
It was widely believed that before the 1950's it was used for ritual activities and some think it was used for an astronomical observatory. However most like to believe it was actually used for both.
The circle was aligned so that it has a midsummer sunrise, midwinter sunset and southerly and northerly setting of the moon.
Funnily enough with the speculation of the stones being used for rituals, the Druids had had no part in the building of the construction of the stone rings. In fact the Druids we well known for doing their rituals in sacred forest groves.
Is this the only one?
You can find nine hundred of these stone rings in the British Isles, but Stonehenge is the most well known and famous.
This fascinates me. I would love to go back into time and see it all in action. We may not ever know it's true use and meaning.

If Ghosts fascinate you, or you like to go on these ghost hunts around the world, this is one place you should add to your list: The Queen Mary Ship based in Long Beach, California, USA.
The History:
The ship did her maiden voyage on May 27th 1936. Then it was used for a war service from March 1940 - September 1946, that carried 765,429 military personnel. She then resumed a passenger service from July 31, 1947, until a retirement on September 19, 1967.
The ship was purchased by Long Beach City back in December 1967, and is now a hotel and museum.
Here are some of the haunting's on the ship:
The Engine Room: This is said to be the most haunted part of the ship. It is haunted by a 17 year old sailor who was crushed to death trying to escape a fire. Knocking and banging noises have been heard by many people.
Where the front desk area of the hotel is now: A lady in white roams here.
Pool area Child ghosts lurk here. One is the spirit of a young girl who broke her neck in the pool. She has been seen and heard asking for her mother and where her doll is.
Pool changing rooms area It is believed that the screams heard here are of a sailor who was killed when the Queen Mary collided with a smaller ship.
As well as the screams other activities such as furniture moving by itself, unknown spirits appearing and the sense of someone hands touching them have all been reported.

I think it's amazing how a ship with such history has been restored so well, in keeping with the original furnishings and decorations. Have a look at the video below for a tour of the ship.
The bedrooms are my favourite as they look rather eerie, but overall it is really interesting for ghost and history fanatic's.
